Rider In Balance invites veterinarians to Veterinarian Basic Course at Finnskogstoppen. In this course, Maria Terese Engell will address cases where riders feel their horses exhibit asymmetry and possibly mild lameness. With the assistance of Elin Hernlund, they will together determine whether it is the rider or the horse causing this issue.

Maria Terese Engell will provide theory on human biomechanics and demonstrate rider analysis on the ground before proceeding to ridden analysis. Elin Hernlund will offer theory on equine biomechanics and demonstrate how the Sleip app works.

This course is perfect for veterinarians and veterinary students who wants to learn about the RIB and Sleip concepts and who wish to better understand the relationship between rider and horse. 

The course will take place on May 11-12th at Finnskogstoppen Spa og Velværehotel in Grue Finnskog We will begin at 10:30 AM on May 11th and conclude at 4:00 PM on May 12th. Accommodation (1 night), lunch both days, breakfast, and dinner are included in the price. This event is exclusively open to veterinarians or veterinary students.The course will be held in Norwegian and Swedish. The course fee is 12 000 NOK.
